XF10473-145 Printing Pallet: Will B1 and A1 Sheets Fit? Check the Numbers

A sheet that fits within a pallet's outline is only the start of the decision. Packaged stack dimensions, bottom support, total weight and handling equipment all affect a printing plant's daily workflow. The XF10473-145 flat-deck nestable nine-leg pallet is in Xingfeng's printing pallet range. Here is a practical way to assess it using product data and transparent calculations.

Pallet data: 1040 × 730 × 145 mm

Dimensions and load ratings come from Xingfeng's product card. The outside footprint is useful for an initial size check; confirm effective support, stacking and equipment fit on site.

B1, A1 and B2: compare both sheet dimensions

Place the long edge along the pallet's 1040 mm direction and the short edge along its 730 mm direction. The remaining dimensions below are combined clearance across both sides, before adding a board, corner protection or wrapping.

A centered B1 sheet leaves only about 20 mm and 11.5 mm per side in the two directions. If the protective board, wrapping or corner pieces exceed that space, the packed stack may not fit. Measure the full load envelope, not just the nominal sheet size. Oversize untrimmed sheets require a larger pallet.

A weight example: 500 B1 sheets ≈ 28.3 kg

For 80 g/m² ISO B1 paper (1.000 × 0.707 m), the theoretical net mass of 500 sheets is 1.000 × 0.707 × 80 × 500 ÷ 1000 ≈ 28.3 kg. Ten groups of 500 sheets amount to roughly 282.8 kg of paper. This calculation excludes boards, packaging, the pallet itself and moisture variation.

For movement, compare the measured loaded weight with the 0.5 T dynamic rating and check fork contact, load center and turning conditions. The 1.0 T static rating applies to stationary loading; it is neither a moving-load nor a rack-load rating.

Three details that protect a paper stack

Bottom layer: The deck includes leg-nesting recesses. For loose sheets or soft packs, use a sufficiently rigid, level bottom board to bridge openings and reduce local pressure marks.

Handling: Check stack centering, strapping or wrapping and fork dimensions. Keep protective corners and packaging within the pallet outline.

Empty pallets: The nestable nine-leg design helps consolidate empty units. Confirm the safe nested stack height and quantity for the site.
